Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile Arrives for iOS and Android [Download APK Now]

The highly anticipated mobile version of the popular Call of Duty: Warzone battle royale game has finally landed for both iOS and Android devices.

On March 20th, Microsoft-owned developer Activision rolled out the smartphone adaptation in select regions including India, allowing mobile gamers to experience the intense free-to-play action.

Available now on the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPad, as well as the Google Play Store for Android devices, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile brings the franchise's signature gameplay to the small screen. However, the file sizes are quite hefty - the initial iOS download weighs in at a whopping 3.93GB, with an additional 3.3GB downloaded automatically upon launching. Android users have it slightly better with a 1.5GB initial download followed by around 5GB of additional files.

Activision had previously offered a limited release to players who pre-registered, but the game is now open to all as a separate download on iOS. Android users will receive the full official version as an app update.

The developers have cautioned that there may be delays in downloading as the global rollout is still ongoing, but Indian players should now be able to jump into the action.

So what can mobile gamers expect from Warzone's new pocket-sized iteration?

The release features two massive maps from the original game - the sprawling Verdansk for up to 120 players, and the close-quarters Rebirth Island capped at 48 combatants. Multiplayer fans are treated to classic maps like Shipment, Shoot House, and Scrapyard.

One standout addition is the Verdansk Gulag, where eliminated Verdansk players can battle for redeployment by taking out other downed opponents. Perhaps the most exciting aspect is cross-progression with Modern Warfare III and Warzone on consoles and PCs, letting players carry over XP, weapon levels, Battle Passes, skins and more between platforms.
